X splits Verified Organizations into ‘Premium Business’ and ‘PremiumOrganizations’

On Tuesday, X announced that its premium subscription for businesses and governments, previously called Verified Organizations, is being rebranded. The service will now be split into two separate offerings: Premium Business and Premium Organizations.

The Premium Organizations tier is intended for governments and multilateral organizations and comes with a grey checkmark. The Premium Business tier is designed to help businesses drive growth on X and features a gold checkmark.

According to X, the Premium Business subscription includes new tools to help organizations scale, whether they are a small business, a startup, or a global corporation. There are three tiers for Premium Business: Basic, Full Access, and Enterprise.

X states that Premium Business will help companies grow on the platform by boosting credibility with a gold checkmark and increasing visibility through affiliate badges. The subscription also provides advanced impersonation defense tools and access to faster human support for quick issue resolution.

Premium Business also offers tools for hiring, real-time brand and industry monitoring, and access to SuperGrok. Additionally, X says Premium Business will soon get access to priority handles and the ability to explore a marketplace to acquire high-value handles. The company explained that priority handles are a set of inactive handles available to Premium Businesses for free, while rarer or more valuable inactive handles will be available for purchase.

The Premium Business Basic subscription costs 200 dollars per month and includes the essentials to establish a business on X. The Full Access tier costs 1,000 dollars per month and comes with affiliates, fast support, priority handles, impersonation defense, and early access to new features. The Enterprise tier includes advanced tools, account management, and maximum support for unique goals. Pricing for the Enterprise tier is custom.

The Premium Organizations plan costs 1,000 dollars per month. X says that for a limited time, users can receive 100 percent of their subscription cost in the form of advertising credits.

Seth Fuchs from X Engineering said in an announcement that X is the best place to grow an organization’s influence and speak directly to the people who matter. He stated the company is building for organizations that want to move fast, stay relevant, and grow directly on the world’s town square, and that they are just getting started.

By adding new Premium tiers, including a cheaper 200 dollar option, X is likely looking to boost revenue as it continues to deal with its struggling ads business.
