Spotify now integrates directly with DJ software from rekordbox, Serato, and djay

Spotify now integrates directly with desktop DJ software from rekordbox, Serato, and djay. The streaming service announced the news on Wednesday. This integration allows users to access their entire music libraries and playlists within these programs. It makes the process of creating sets from playlists and blending tracks faster and easier.

According to Spotify, you can effortlessly mix songs using supported DJ software. This allows for curating sets to build momentum or create mood shifts between tracks. Users simply log in to access the entire Spotify music catalog, including their personal playlists and Spotify’s editorial selections. This provides a seamless way to take creative control and make every set unique.

The integration will be available only to Premium subscribers and is accessible in fifty-one global markets.

Spotify notes that this launch follows another recent feature for Premium users. That feature allows users to mix track-to-track transitions within their own playlists.

This announcement is the latest in a series of new features from the streaming service. Spotify recently launched support for lossless music streaming. It also introduced the ability for free users to select and play specific songs. Other recent additions include new smart filters for screening library content and an in-app messaging feature.
