The daily live show, hosted by former founders John Coogan and Jordi Hays, focuses on tech, business, AI, and defense. It has a cult Silicon Valley following as a candid forum for top CEOs. TBPN will keep its brand and editorial independence, reporting to OpenAI’s Chris Lehane. The show is on track to earn over $30 million this year. OpenAI’s Fidji Simo said TBPN will help communicate AI’s impact, leveraging the hosts’ marketing instincts. CEO Sam Altman expects the show will still criticize OpenAI. Host Jordi Hays stated the move allows them to shift from commentary to real global impact.
