Nothing’s AI devices plan reportedly contains smart glasses and earbuds

London-based hardware company Nothing plans to release smartglasses next year, according to a report. The glasses are expected to have cameras, microphones, and speakers, connecting to a smartphone and cloud for AI queries. CEO Carl Pei, initially resistant, now aims for a multi-device strategy beyond phones and audio gear. The company also plans AI earbuds this year. This would pit Nothing against competitors like Meta, which just launched new models, and rumored products from Apple and Google. Nothing became a unicorn last year after a $200 million funding round. Known for its transparent designs, the company seeks to stand out through hardware, software, and AI innovation.
