Cameo was once a billion-dollar company during the pandemic but saw its valuation drop over 90% in 2024. It has faced financial struggles, including an FTC fine. This TikTok move is part of its comeback attempt, following last year’s launch of a birthday app called Candl.
The partnership reflects a trend of companies leveraging influencers. TikTok already has features for fan support, like tips and subscriptions. This integration adds Cameo’s service directly into the app.
